Their food processing facility and inventory management handle large volumes of orders, particularly in the early hours. Their dedicated team ensures products are freshly cut and dispatched by night, emphasizing their commitment to fast turnaround times.
During high-demand periods, they efficiently handle substantial orders, such as 100 cases of watermelon and blueberries per day. With that volume, Marjon relies on ProMach product brand Matrix, a leader in flexible machinery, for vertical form fill and sealing these bags. The Matrix Mercury and MVC-300 machines help Marjon with advanced technology, reduced changeover time and downtime, and pre-set recipes for quick product transitions, maximizing uptime and output between products.
The Mercury high-speed filling machine produces 140 bags per minute, and the MVC-300 is a continuous motion, high-speed jaw system, achieving high fill rates and an advanced vertical form fill and seal machine.
Machines operate in cold and damp environments, two shifts a day, seven days a week. 2 – 16 oz 50 and 110 bags per minute.
