Two new tools help attendees cut through 2,600 exhibitors and find exactly what their line needs.
PACK EXPO 2026 is shaping up to be the largest in the show’s history: more than 2,600 exhibitors spread across 1.3 million net square feet, with roughly 48,000 attendees expected to move through more than 40 vertical markets over four days at McCormick Place. Those are impressive numbers that point to real scale and real opportunity for anyone walking the floor with a specific project to solve, especially with this year’s new equipment lineup debuting across the show.
There’s an incredible amount to explore, and PMMI clearly wants attendees to make the most of it. The organization built My Show Planner specifically to help attendees map exhibitors, schedule appointments, and build a custom agenda before they ever set foot in Chicago, and this year’s mobile app adds GPS-style navigation to guide people once they’re there. ProMach took a similar approach in designing its own booth.
It’s a pattern ProMach has seen firsthand on the show floor for years: attendees arrive with a project already in mind. PMMI’s own reporting backs this up, attendees come with “projects in hand, ready to source solutions,” some even bringing sample parts to test against equipment on display. The ProMach Pavilion (Booth S-3630) reflects that same insight, giving visitors a direct path to the solutions built for their specific product.
InLine Kiosk at PACK EXPO 2026: Built Around What You Make
Rather than asking attendees to already know which of ProMach’s dozens of brands fits their needs, the InLine kiosk flips the question. Attendees answer a few quick questions about what they’re packaging, and the kiosk instantly surfaces the ProMach solutions built for that specific line. It’s a self-guided checkpoint built around the same insight PMMI’s own reporting confirms: buyers come in with a project, not a shopping list of brand names.
Follow the Line: Your Market, Mapped Across the Floor
That same logic extends across the entire ProMach Pavilion. Follow the Line organizes the booth into seven focused markets, Liquid Foods, Ready-to-Drink, Wine & Spirits, Pet Care, Contract Packaging, Pharma & Life Sciences, and Protein, each marked by its own color-coded badge (a paw print for Pet Care, a drumstick for Protein, a wine bottle and can for Wine & Spirits, and so on). Machines on the floor carry the badge of the market they serve, and so do the ProMach experts stationed at each stop, so attendees can trace a complete production line, start to finish, for their specific product, more easily than piecing it together booth by booth on their own.
At a show with 2,600 exhibitors and more vertical markets than most attendees will ever fully explore, that kind of organization is more than just a nice-to-have. It’s the difference between a day that moves your project forward and a day spent circling the floor.
